All offices have air-conditioning and are personalised so each tenant has their business name and own doorbell at street level. 

Licences are simplified to a single page, have automatic break-clauses and deposits are rarely required. Then, one monthly payment covers everything—including all phone calls, handsets, the high-speed broadband and a generous meeting-room allowance.  Unsurprisingly, tenants approve.

As a boutique City business centre, our offices range in size from a comfortable single person office to a much larger 8 person, with varying configurations to suit tenants.  Every office is air-conditioned with modern office furniture and equipped with multiple access to phones and high-speed broadband.

MEETING ROOM

The smartly furnished meeting room on the lower ground floor can comfortably seat up to eight people.   Fitted with a presentation screen, Wi-Fi and phone, it is ideal for formal or informal meetings, and it is easily bookable on line at very reasonable rates, from one hour to all day.  Additionally the kitchen next door is on hand to provide coffees, teas etc for guests or staff.

TELECOMS

Each office is provided with the high-tech Avaya IP office phone system, with its individual DDI numbering, that allows an extensive range of applications, essential in the modern office.  

 

For instance, the call-logging system gives very detailed data about calls, both incoming and outgoing, which can be a useful management tool for monitoring business efficiency.  

 

National and local calls are not charged for and neither are international calls, except when for high volume. The broadband has the advantage of a 100 Mb leased line which gives extremely high upload and download speeds, enhancing any business usage.

KITCHENS

With two well-appointed kitchens, there’s no queue or congestion at busy times, as there usually is in larger business centres.  All cutlery and crockery is provided and there’s plenty of space in cupboards for each tenant.  The kitchens have there own fridges and microwaves so you can heat up prepared foods easily and make cups of coffee and tea.

LOCAL AREA & FACILITIES

LOCATION & TRANSPORT

Located in a tranquil part of the City, away from the traffic hubbub, Ironmonger Lane runs between Poultry and Gresham Street and is an easy 3-minute walk to Bank tube station that brings you an unrivalled galaxy of links all over London.

 

Slightly further away is Bow Lane for the Circle line and in the opposite direction there’s Moorgate, again for the Circle line, and soon a Crossrail station, which will make Heathrow Airport only 35 minutes away.

 

There is additionally an abundance of national rail stations within a ten minute radius, such as Liverpool Street, Cannon Street, Waterloo, Blackfriars and Fenchurch Street, and City Airport, ideal for flights to Europe, is only 30 minutes away by DLR.

HEALTH CLUBS & SHOPS

For those anxious to keep fit and trim, there is an assortment of health clubs all around the City, ranging from the basic to sophisticated.

Then, in Cheapside and No 1 New Change there are a plethora of shops, cafes and restaurants, not to mention a large Tesco store for home shopping.

RESTAURANTS

Almost next door is the Anthologist restaurant, a well known  watering hole with its reasonably priced menu and ideal for business or plain socialising.  A little further in the other direction at No 1 Poultry is the Coq d'Argent, a D&D restaurant serving classic French food in a spectacular rooftop setting and a Grill offering a more casual lunchtime menu. Numerous other restaurants, bars and cafes are within easy walking distance.

HOTELS

Around the corner by the Bank of England, at 27 Poultry, is The Ned, a 5-star hotel with eight restaurants serving classic dishes and wines from around the world. Members of Ned's Club can access everything on offer, including rooms, the roof top pool and a late-night bar in the original bank vault.

OUR PURPOSE

Our boutique business centre is designed to be a delightful, inexpensive home for small businesses looking to share the vibrant opportunities in the City of London and avoid the anonymous atmosphere of an institutionalised large business centre.

 

We want our tenants to enjoy our boutique office centre and stay with us for as long as possible, which means that, unlike some business centres, we are attentive to our tenants’ requirements and we are not proponents of repetitive rental hikes, keeping our prices reasonable and constant.  Tenants have stayed many years, some as much as eight, which must say something nice about us.
